At the Pier
A spatial audio composition responding to the architecture and movement at the landing stage. Field recordings processed into a site-specific multi-channel setup.
The public space is the ultimate museum—accessible to everyone. These site-specific sonic interventions are designed to integrate seamlessly into the urban environment.
The compositional process begins directly at the location with field recordings. In the studio, these recordings are processed and intuitively woven together with sonic structures and spatial impressions to form multi-channel audio pieces. Depending on the site, the resulting acoustics range from angular and raw to fluid and atmospheric.
